A Fabulous Vintage Book Haul: Old Books, Yearbooks & Amazing Paper Finds

Sometimes you go looking for a few old books and come home with… considerably more than a few :)

In this video I’m sharing some of the vintage books, old yearbooks, typography finds and wonderfully worn bits of paper that came home with me. These are exactly the sorts of things I love finding for journal making: interesting type, beautifully aged pages, odd little illustrations, old handwriting and all those details you simply can’t manufacture.

Part of the fun is never quite knowing what you’ll find inside an old book until you start flipping through it. Some will eventually make their way into handmade journals and paper projects, while others may simply live on the shelf for a while because I can’t quite bear to take them apart.
