Creating Cozy Winter Pages in My Junk Journal
There’s something about winter light that makes me want to slow down and reach for paper.
This week I spent a quiet afternoon at my desk layering soft blue tones, old photographs, lace, and little scraps of ephemera into a few cozy winter pages in my junk journal. Nothing fancy or rushed — just gentle collage, texture, and storytelling, one piece at a time.
These spreads feel like winter memories to me… snowy walks, warm tea, and well-loved books stacked nearby.
This winter junk journal tutorial shares simple collage techniques, layered ephemera, and cozy seasonal journaling ideas.
Winter paper craft supplies I used
• vintage book pages
• lace and fabric scraps
• printable ephemera
• tags and tickets
• layered collage papers
• glue, thread, and a warm cup of tea
Thanks for spending a quiet winter afternoon at the desk with me. I hope these pages inspire you to gather your scraps, make something slow and handmade, and tell a few paper stories of your own.
