Lost in the Darkness: Drawer No. 1 — Haunted Ephemera Set
There are drawers in The Haunted Desk that are probably better left closed.
Naturally, I opened one :)
Lost in the Darkness: Drawer No. 1 is a collection of 22 physical pieces of haunted ephemera—coffee-dyed envelopes, tags and old paper forms, along with eerie portraits, anatomical oddities, poison labels, graveyards, bats and other curious remnants.
Some pieces feel as though they came from an abandoned office. Others appear to have been borrowed from a crumbling family album or retrieved from the pocket of someone who disappeared a very long time ago.
They can be tucked into journals, layered into collages, added to pockets and envelopes or simply shuffled around the table until a story begins to emerge. There are no instructions and no particular rules. Start with the face that unsettles you most and see where it leads.
Each set is bundled together like a small parcel recovered from the back of The Haunted Desk.
Whether you use them to begin a haunted journal, tuck a strange little secret into an envelope, or simply spread them across your desk and admire them for a while, I hope these pieces bring a little beautiful darkness to whatever you are making.
This is a physical set of printed paper pieces, ready to use. Nothing is digital, and there is nothing to download or print.
Drawer No. 1 is open now. I have a feeling it won’t be the last.
Thanks for “haunting” by, Lisa ;)
